We are thinking of going away again in february. There will be 2 public holiday meaning 2 off days on the 3rd week which is good enough to go for a short stint away. This also means we wouldn’t used up too many leave entitlements. For one week away, we only apply for 2 working days leave which is great since our leave entitlement takes into account the working days only and not public holidays or weekend. So thats sorted.
For a short vacation, we usually don’t go very far. We are thinking of going to Kuching or even KL again and this time with my parents tagging along. We never gone on holiday with my parents as a family. Only when I was younger and unmarried and this was all hubby’s idea. My daughter loves and supports it since she is very fond of her grandparents. So its going to be interesting. And hopefully fun.
