KL Trip - Out and about Part 1

After the concert, we had 2 days to enjoy the rest of KL.  We didnt do anything much except went for some shopping and a stroll.  As I said KL was so hot but that didnt stop us from wandering around on foot.  As usual, KL was busy but I think not as busy as Singapore.  Maybe this was not the time of school holidays so most streets were empty and its nice not to have to squeeze in between people, especially in the LRT.

With the next holiday in mind, we bought some winter jackets, leather water proof shoes and some gloves, since we dont have that sort of mechandise in Brunei, this was just the perfect time to replenish our items.

So some randoms pictures of our 2 remaining days in KL...

KL Trip - Justin Bieber Concert

This is one of the gift I promised myself if our daughter did well in school.  We took her to watch Justin Bieber concert in Malaysia.  Its all started in January when we heard this teen singer will perform in KL, the nearest we could get to.  We arranged everything without Ayang knowing and we told her about it only last week.  Of course she is estatic, she cant wait to go and see him live.

So here we were, the concert was sold out, I read from the paper, the audience was around 17,000 comprising mostly of teenaged girls (of course!) and parents accompanying their kids.  JB was so popular!  Girls screamed and chanted all night long.  It was a noisy night, it was hot and it was also raining heavily for a couple of hours before the concert.

Luckily we bought tickets in the covered area so we were all dry compared to those who bought the most expensive tickets but soaked in the rain.  The girls were crazy, they sang along, they screamed and me and hubby were just sat there and watched with amazement.  How this kid did this phenomenon, I just didnt know.  Anyway, it was a good night.  Our only complaint was, it was clearly stated using video cam was not allowed, but the rules were not imposed.  There were people took video and we didnt because that was the rule!  But I am glad that we made our daughter happy and enjoyed herself.  Although we couldnt see JB very well since its too far away but at least we were there to watch the show.

Us earlier in the day where we exchanged our online tickets with real ones.

Me exchanging the tickets

The tickets to watch JB concert

A very happy girl!

The tickets were sold according to colour coded zones.  The most expensive zones were the Red zone which costs RM498.  We thought of buying these tickets but it was blocked.  We were glad we didnt though, because of the rain lol

While queuing up to enter the stadium

When we arrived, there were already a long queue at the yellow zone (our ticket zone) and it was only 4.30pm.  The concert started at 9.00pm so imagine how long the waiting was.

Inside the stadium at around 5.30pm when it started to rain.

Haha.. hubby IS NOT a Bieber fan I am afraid.

The stage where JB will perform

How come these people wore red?  Actually that was rain coats provided by the organiser for free.

When the concert was about to start

We were dry but it was too far to see JB clearly.  And we didnt even brought good camera with us so this is all we have.

Free JB posters were distributed for free but I guess its even better to see the real thing.  The posters were discarded mercilessly, hehe...

Ayang after the concert, I knew she had a wonderful time.
We couldnt see JB clearly but this was him during the concert, taken from one of the entertainment websites.

It was a hot hot night and JB was drenched with sweat.

KL Trip Day 1

Our trip to KL this time to watch Justin Bieber concert and to spend a few days afterwards relaxing.  Our daughter is a big fan so without her knowledge we arranged to go to his concert in KL on 21st April.  We told her only a week earlier whilst we bought the tickets in January lol.  So off we went, and this time we flied using AirAsia for the 2nd time in 2 years.  The flight was ok and we didnt have any complaints whatsoever.  Although this time the flight was delayed for about one hour but we arrived safely in KL at around 6.45pm.  It was raining when we arrived but it turned out ok once we reached our hotel.

So some random pictures follows on our first day.
