KL Trip in July

Another long overdue post!

We had a quick 3 days shopping trip to KL in July. Nothing much except we did lots of shopping.. KL is such a familiar place, so nothing is special here anymore. We've been here numerous of time so its just like another uneventful trip.
However some pics to remember this trip by :)

Fahrenheit Suites Kuala Lumpur

This post is long overdue!  I was supposed to make a review of this apartment a few months back but it just slipped my mind.

But my opinion still stands though. Its a very nice and spacious apartment for any family to stay in.

We rented a 3 bedroom apartments with 2 toilets. Its still good enough for 8 people so I was happy with that.  I like the colour scheme (orange is my favourite colour!).  Good amenities and kitchen with flat screen tv.  However there is no washing machines in the room except in the lobby area of the apartment.  To wash clothes you have to pay,  but its cheap.  Although there are some aspects of the apartment that need urgent attention.  Like the lifts and the corridors.  They are run down!  And need a facelift.

And dont make me start on the location!  Its the best location within the city centre of KL.  All the well known and famous shopping complexes are within reach of this hotel so its all good.

No regret staying here though.

The living room plus the small kitchen, I just love this room!

The corridor leading up to the 3 bedrooms

The 2nd bedroom

The flat screen tv with Astro and DVD player!

The washroom in the master bedroom

View from our room, not so good though.

KL Holiday (again!)

After spending a few short days in Langkawi, we flew back to KL Malaysia to finish off our holiday.  We have been here many times but we still go here since its the shortest and enjoyable trip to go to apart from KK.  I enjoyed the city as well and the shopping is great.  The fact that the money exchange is lower, makes the trip always special :)  I love it that when we were there, the exchange was B$1.00 is equivalent to RM2.43.  Nice!

Hubby took lots of pictures as usual but I am gonna post just a few.  And I am not going to chronicle every day we were there because I feel its just a repetition since we've been here before so many times already.  Although this time my brother, his family and my parents tagged along.

Another best thing about this trip was the  place we stayed in.  Its enormous, very clean and beautifully decorated.  Its all good and we didnt regret stayed here because the place was sparkingly new and newly renovated.  You should see it to believe it how spacious the apartment is.  And its getting popular by Bruneians since we met so many Bruneian there.  Although I must say they should look into renovating the corridors and lifts now since they were really run down and old.  And once that is done, the apartment will be perfect!

I tell you what.  I think I will create a separate post just for the apartment, just to show how much I like it.  So I can show every bit of the rooms, corridors and kitchen.  Although its a shame we didnt take any picture of the corridors and lifts.  That would have been a good comparison, the old and the new I mean.

Anyway, here are some of our pictures taken during the trip so enjoy....

During our stay in KL this time around (in March), the city was buzzing with F1 activities.  The replica of the F1 cars were everywhere!  And there were concerts, competitions and adverts all over the place to promote the F1 in Malaysia.  And its kind of too much for us, since we were not really a big fan.
