First trip to Jakarta, Indonesia - Jakarta in pictures

Now for something different, Jakarta in pictures, from our humble camera.  These are from our views which may be limited so this may portray just a small part of Jakarta.

There were too much to say but to sum it all up, here they are..

Most people use motorcyles to move around

Too much of this kind of action around the place we stay, people were just trying to survive in this harsh world, so sad.

Traffic jam is horrendous

Food vendors were everywhere

Transportation

Commuters stopping at door of shopping malls all the time so and the security people need to control the situation, although we did witness some took bribe place!

I like the bus stations in Jakarta, so convenient and safe.

Another food vendor we managed to catch in our camera

Living standards

Selling stuff

Not so much on safety I am afraid

A beggar, asking for money persistently even knocking on our taxi's door.  Sorry sis cant help but capture this.

The so called Bajai, a cheap and budget way to go around, most Indonesians opted for this cheap transportations.

Lets go somewhere!

Vendor selling fruits

Too much going on
Although there some part of Jakarta that are so thriving, modern and clean
So serene and pretty sight

Nice modern building, look at that horse carriage!

Our Hotel, it has 33 floors!

The upscale one

A stark contrast from those at the outskirt.

And thats it.  It was ok, I dont mind going there again, things are cheaper, lots of places to go to.  I dont mind.
